GUEST SPEAKER JEFF WINTER Jeff is one of the most active speakers on the after-dinner circuit and has won the prestigious MBN Soccer Speaker of the Year.
Jeff's career as a referee stretched over some 25 years until he retired at the end of the 2003/04 season after taking charge of the FA Cup Final.
Since breaking ties with the Football Association, Jeff is free to speak about his experiences with true candidness, his dealings with the most controversial and volatile players and his experience of the management elite.
COMEDIAN PAUL BOARDMAN Paul is a refreshingly new comic on the circuit and is a regular performer for the Variety Club of Great Britain and the Celebrity Golf Tour.At the age of 18, Paul was offered a soccer scholarship in the USA and spent 4 years at the University of Maryland studying for a degree in Sports ScienceOn his return to England, he was one of Peter Shilton's first managerial signings when he was asked to play professional football for Plymouth Argyle. He played there for three years until he was forced to retire due to injury. Paul then decided to follow in the footsteps of dad, Stan and turned back to comedy, writing and performing his own material. Currently Paul is also presenter on Sky Sports.

The Referees Department are delighted to announce the following Basic Referee Courses, which will be held on a localised basis:

Any Clubs who do not have there own web site I can reccomend the one that the League uses, its so easy to manage that I can manage to get round it. Advantages, if the League apends any notice etc., on the web site it will be an automatic update on your Clubs web site.
Sure your players would welcome any initiative you may wish to take and allow then to post items of interest on the web site.
